Vector Logistics uses its resources to do MORE

Vector is a Sales, Merchandising and Supply Chain partner adding value to our client’s business through a fully integrated, temperature controlled network in South Africa. But we are also more than that. We are people serving people. That’s why, when we can, we use our talents and resources to partner with organisations that do MORE so that together, we can help those who need it most.

One of the organisations we partner with that is truly passionate about doing MORE is the DO MORE FOUNDATION. Young children are at the centre of their strategy, since every child uplifted means better prospects for a household and ultimately the community itself. The Foundation’s approach to maximising project potential is to act as a catalyst for collaborative initiatives aligned to national imperatives-such as integrated Early Childhood Development.

In an effort to end the prevalence of stunting in South Africa, one of the Early Childhood Development initiatives that they have aligned with is Grow Great’s Flourish Campaign that seeks to offer universal access to mom and baby classes that support, celebrate and empower mothers through the critical first 1000 days of a child’s life. This Campaign recently became the beneficiary of an extremely generous anonymous donation of nappies that the DO MORE FOUNDATION received.

In order to ensure that the nappies reached Flourish, the DO MORE FOUNDATION reached out to us. Testament to Vector’s culture of GOING BEYOND, the team immediately responded to the call and arranged that the Operations team deliver all 12 pallets of nappies to the communities in need.

With the DO MORE FOUNDATION’s passion to ‘create better tomorrows for the children of South Africa’ and Vector Logistics’ vision of GOING BEYOND, it is partnerships like these that bring about real change for communities that need it most.
